useless tip

[startxfce4 script]
Debian Lenny では、軽いので GNOME の かわりに window manager の Xfce を 使っています。
この前 firefox が フリーズしたとき、Xfce の パネルが 消えてしまった。 負荷が かかったからだろう。 ブレーカーが 落ちたようなものかな?
Xfce の 起動時に パネルを 開くには、xfce4-panel という コマンドを 用いるらしい。
man page を 印刷してみる、

$ man -t xfce4-panel | lp

便利なように Xfce では startxfce4 という スクリプトが 用意されている。

この パネルのための コマンドが xfce4-panel である。

使い方は カンタン、

$ xfce4-panel &

これで OK。 再起動しても、ちゃんと パネルが 現われますよ。
