Internet Archive は web page 以外に、text も 収集しているので、試しに 2冊 pdf.file を download してみた。
"The Dawn of European Civilization" (sixth edition) by V. Gordon Childe (1958)
"Head and Hand in Ancient Greece" by Benjamin Farrington (1947)
ただし、Internet Archive の サーチエンジンでは - はっきり いって - 著者名だけでは 捜しだせない。
その場合、Google で 次のように 打ち込んで 検索すると、Internet Archive の 該当 page に すぐ たどりつけます。

"Benjamin Farrington" "Internet Archive"

(書名でも O.K.)

"The Golden Bough" "Internet Archive"

もちろん Archive に存在すれば、ですが ...
